Coach Dylan is Blue Wave’s Director of Basketball Operations and, in this role, he is responsible for shaping the vision for player development in our program. Prior to serving in this capacity, Coach Dylan was the director of Blue Wave’s middle school basketball program. Under his leadership, the middle school program won more than a dozen championships in his first year alone. More importantly, the program made a positive impact on the personal and athletic development of its players: A point of passion, pride, and emphasis for Coach Dylan.
With 20+ years of basketball experience, Coach Dylan is fully committed to youth basketball in Maine and is a firm believer in the transformative impact it can have for its athletes.
Coach Dylan is passionate about giving back to his community. This is reflected in his work as a decorated football and basketball coach at both Portland High School and Yarmouth High School and in his service as a board of director member for several notable area non-profits.

Hayden Campbell
Girls Director of Basketball
Hayden Campbell is our Girls Director for Blue Wave Basketball! She is ecstatic to work with our players and strives to be a role model for them, day in and day out.
A little background about Hayden. A Saco native, she attended Thornton Academy high school graduating with a 4.2 GPA, winning two conference championships in the process. Continuing her playing career, she started at Husson where her team won 3 back-to-back NAC championships and advanced to the sweet 16 in the NCAA Division 3 tournament. While at Husson, Hayden received her bachelor’s in sports medicine and her doctorate in physical therapy. Hayden was brought back to the game by a former coach and now plays for the L/A Maples Semi-Pro basketball team. A versatile player with experience from many different coaching styles – Campbell primarily played power forward for the Eagles, with the diverse skillset of a high-level guard. Hayden is the perfect coach to help your child become more confident with the ball.
Hayden’s goal is to continue to build up strong and confident leaders and teammates. She fully believes that sports can form you into a truly disciplined and resilient person and strives to be that example to your children.
